Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Roll a D6 (rollad6.co) handles when you use the site or contact us, why, and for how long.

The short version

Who is responsible

Roll a D6 is operated by the owner of the rollad6.co domain (“we,” “us”). For any question about this policy or your data, email contact@rollad6.co.

Information we collect and why

Server logs

Like almost every website, our web server automatically records each request it receives: your IP address, the date and time, the page or file requested, the response status, the size of the response, the referring page and your browser’s user-agent string. We use these logs only to keep the site secure and working, for example to investigate errors or abusive traffic. Our basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure, reliable website.

Email you send us

If you email contact@rollad6.co, we receive your email address, your name if your email shows it, and whatever you choose to write. We use it only to read and answer your message, and our basis is our legitimate interest in replying to you, or taking steps you ask for.

Your cookie choice

When you choose an option in the cookie banner, the site stores that choice in a cookie so it does not ask again on every page. See the Cookie Policy for details.

Information stored only in your browser

The roller keeps your latest 20 rolls in the memory of the current browser tab so they can be shown under the tool. The sound setting works the same way. Neither is sent to our server or saved on your device, and both disappear when you reload or close the tab.

Analytics, advertising and third parties

Roll a D6 does not use analytics, advertising, social media widgets or tracking pixels. Every script, font and image is served from rollad6.co itself, so visiting the site does not send your data to other companies.

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it except with the service providers below, or where the law requires it.

Service providers

These providers process data only to provide their service to us. Depending on where they operate, data may be processed outside your country.

How long we keep information

How information is protected

The whole site is served only over HTTPS, so data between your browser and our server is encrypted. The server sends security headers that block content from other origins. Access to the server and logs is limited to the people who run the site.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive a copy of it. To make a request, email contact@rollad6.co. We may need to ask for details to find the information, such as the approximate date and time of your visit for server logs. Because logs are deleted after 10 days, older visits can no longer be found.

You can change your cookie choice at any time with the Cookie settings button in the footer of every page. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you may also be able to complain to the data protection authority where you live.

Children

The site is suitable for general audiences and does not ask anyone, of any age, for personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If the site’s use of data changes, for example if an analytics tool were ever added, this policy and the Cookie Policy will be updated before the change takes effect, and the date at the top of this page will change. Any optional service would only run after you agree to it.

Cookie preferences

Choose which optional cookies Roll a D6 may use. You can change this at any time with Cookie settings in the footer.
